Who we are

OmenMonkey is the trade name used by Juan Manuel Real Domínguez. Its owner is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy.

Throughout this document, ‘OmenMonkey’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to its owner acting under that trade name, not to a separate company.

Legal bases and local storage

Accounts, profiles, matches and inventory are processed to perform the requested service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Fraud prevention, moderation and security rely on the legitimate interest in protecting the service and its users (Art. 6(1)(f)); you may object on grounds relating to your situation. Promotional emails require separate, withdrawable consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Your device stores your session and language, audio and game preferences, not advertising cookies. You can sign out and clear local data in your browser or device. Rankings show your name, avatar and results, never your email. Daily rewards record claim dates.

Data we process

If you play without an online account, the game does not need to identify you.

If you create an online account, we process your email, online name, user identifier, color/avatar, statistics, ranking goals, puck balance, unlocked outfits, online match history, and moderation reports you submit or that we receive.

The online server also processes technical data required for connection, matchmaking, and security, such as match state, network events, and the IP address received by the hosting provider.

Why we use the data

We use the data to authenticate users, store profiles, show rankings, synchronize online matches, record results, prevent abuse, handle requests, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your personal data or show personalized ads in this version.

External services

We use Supabase for authentication, database, and technical profile storage. We use Render to host the online server. Google Play may process its own data when it distributes the app through its store.

Retention and deletion

Your account is kept until you request deletion. Feedback is deleted 12 months after submission; reports, 12 months after closure. Open cases are reviewed and exceptions for legal claims are limited to necessary data and time. Our own diagnostics have a 30-day maximum; provider logs and backups follow their service retention and are not instantly erased when an account is deleted.

To delete your account: Online > Edit profile > Delete account. If you cannot sign in, email support@omenmonkey.com from your account email.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or portability by writing to support@omenmonkey.com. If you are in the European Union, you may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Online accounts are reserved for people aged 16 or older. Before requesting email or password, we check the declared birth date on the device; we do not transmit or store it. Supabase retains only the minimum-age declaration, policy version and registration timestamp until account deletion. If the minimum age is not met, a blocking flag is kept for the browser session. We use this data to enforce the age restriction and protect children. We do not offer parental authorization.

Security and changes

We transmit data over HTTPS when the service is deployed in production and keep private keys on the server, not inside the app.

We may update this policy when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest update.

Optional emails and consent

Ice Brawl Hockey news and OmenMonkey news are separate purposes based on optional consent. We record each choice, date, source, language and displayed text version, and acceptance of the terms. This record is not identity verification or a substitute for privacy information.

Withdraw either permission in Edit profile > Email preferences or by contacting support@omenmonkey.com without losing your account. Essential access and security emails are independent. Preferences and their history are retained while your account exists and deleted with it. Preferences are not public; only confirmed email addresses may receive these updates.

Feedback

You may leave name and contact blank. Do not include passwords or sensitive data. OmenMonkey will use your submission to improve the game and reply, not for advertising. Rights and deletion: support@omenmonkey.com.

We process this data in our legitimate interest in handling voluntary feedback and improving the game. The message, name and contact are stored in a private Supabase inbox, without automatically linking your account. We keep them while needed to handle your request and review and delete messages no longer needed. You may object and request deletion at the email above.
